Bio
Liliana Washburn is a Brazilian-American painter and digital illustrator based in Hudson Valley, New York. She has been involved in art shows since 2011, showcasing her work in five national solo exhibitions and four international group shows. Her art has been featured in the Country and Abroad Magazine, Poughkeepsie Journal, The Pawling Press, and Compassion Magazine.
Liliana has also curated exhibitions for The Gallery at Eastern Hay, Front Street Gallery, and The Watermark University Calendar at the Fountain in Millbrook, New York.
She has received several prestigious art residencies, including the Brashnar Creative Project residency in Northern Macedonia and the Goluchow residency in Poland. Additionally, she is the recipient of the Voices of Pawling Award from Pawling Public Radio and the Exploring Vassar Transfer Scholarship from Vassar College.
Her work is part of both national and international private collections.
Liliana graduated summa cum laude from Sunny New Paltz with a B.S. in Visual Arts. She lives in Hudson Valley with her husband of 23 years.
